New Song Center for Grieving Children
Healing sorrow.
Volunteers are the foundation of everything we do. New Song needs volunteers to help run support groups, do office work, speak to community groups and assist with fundraising activities.
Our support group facilitators work alongside professional staff after comprehensive training and mentoring. Training is offered several times a year. A one-year commitment is requested.
Volunteers help families as they come together every two weeks for group support and a pizza dinner. Being a New Song facilitator is a rewarding way to make a difference.

Building Bridges of Support
A partnership between Hospice of the Valley, Hansen Mortuaries, New York Life Foundation and the National Alliance for Grieving Children brought chaplains and counselors together to focus on healing children who have lost a loved one.
