Volunteer with us!
It may be one of the most fulfilling things you ever do.
Visit a patient. Give a patient’s spouse a break to run to the store. Work at our thrift stores. Stitch a beach towel into a bath poncho. Sing a song or play an instrument. Provide assistance and companionship in Spanish, including grief support for Spanish-speaking children. Answer phones, greet people and manage paperwork in our offices. Assist with special events.
Whatever you do, know you are making a difference in the lives of our patients, families and staff. We treasure volunteers as valuable members of our hospice teams.
Training requirements vary based on your chosen role. Those who wish to support patients and caregivers complete an extended orientation—a total of 24 hours of training over several days. Orientation classes are held monthly.
Corporate volunteering opportunities also are available.
