Hospice of the Valley needs volunteers to visit patients at their homes and provide breaks to family caregivers.
An orientation will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays on Nov. 9, 10, 16 and 17 at the agency’s Northeast Clinical office, 16117 N. 76th St., Scottsdale, 85260.
Volunteers visit with patients, run errands and offer emotional support.
Opportunities also are available for activities that don’t involve patient care, including administrative duties, working at our thrift stores and sewing.
