How are the award recipients selected? MatrixCare, the organization that created the awards, analyzes data from the Hospice CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) survey, a national CMS initiative to measure and improve healthcare delivery. To earn the program’s highest distinction — Hospice Honors Elite — an organization must score above the national performance benchmark on all 22 evaluated survey measures.
What does this recognition mean? We are incredibly proud of our results. These awards recognize all of our staff for achieving the highest standards of excellence in patient care and caregiver experience. Our care teams continue to provide countless moments of support, clinical excellence and genuine human connection each day.

One of the strongest themes we hear is appreciation for our team's responsiveness and the reassurance that support is only a phone call away.
