Hospice of the Valley’s 2026 Pro‑Am Golf Tournament, presented by Cigna Healthcare, brought together XX fabulous threesomes and XX talented pros at Grayhawk Golf Club for an unforgettable day on the course. Under picture‑perfect skies, the 28th annual event on April 2 netted $XX for the nonprofit’s charity care programs.

Since launching the tournament in 1998, volunteer chairman Jay Hoselton has helped raise more than $XXX to ensure patients and families in need receive excellent care, regardless of their financial circumstances.

“When I think about what Hospice of the Valley does — the dignity, the compassion, the comfort that they provide, not only to that person but to their family — I really can’t imagine a more noble cause. That’s exactly why we’re here today: making sure no one is ever turned away,” said Erica Harris with Cigna of Arizona.

Sponsors expressed how gratified they feel supporting the enduring mission of Hospice of the Valley, the only nonprofit hospice in Maricopa County. The agency served more than 28,000 patients and families last year and provided nearly $19 million in unreimbursed services.

“It’s a special round of golf and a special cause, for sure,” said Tim Louis, who competes every year in memory of his parents. “It means a lot to support this organization that my mom and dad supported for many years — and that supported them at the end of their life. Hospice of the Valley fulfills a huge need and they do it tremendously well.”

Kyle Kniepman with the MJ Companies echoed that sentiment. “It’s such a great tournament for a fantastic organization. Hospice of the Valley has been serving the Valley for 49 years, helping so many families at a critical time. I’m so happy to be a part of it.”

This year’s tournament boasted a $XX professional purse and showcased top players from the Southwest Section of the PGA. Pro XX was the winning pro and took home the $XX top prize. “We’re all having fun out here,” Tim said, “but it’s serious golf.”
