Resident/Fellow (Physician) Education
A comprehensive palliative
care rotation provides local physicians-in-training and fellows with an
in-depth overview of the basic principles of hospice and palliative medicine.
The rotation is tailored to meet the learning needs of residency specialties,
such as family practice, internal medicine, psychiatry and pediatrics.
Schedules include a formal group orientation, field visits with individual
palliative care specialists (including a physician, RN case coordinator, social
worker and chaplain), and completion of six interactive online modules (pain
management, dyspnea, advance directives, dementia and delirium, cultural
differences, and hospice care). Pre-Survey - Please complete the Pre-Survey before your rotation begins.
Post-Survey - Please click here to complete the Post-Survey, once you finish your
rotation.
