We’ve all felt that glow in our hearts when we’ve done something to make life better for someone in need.

What if you could do that and treat yourself to a fabulous evening at the same time? That’s a win-win!

Check out Hospice of the Valley’s signature fundraising event, AAHA!, an art, food and wine experience. The festive evening takes place Saturday, March 14, at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn in Scottsdale.

AAHA! features a seated dinner and silent and live auctions of collectible art, fabulous wines, exceptional trips and one-of-a-kind experiences.

Join us in toasting 2020 honoree Mark Tarbell, legendary Arizona chef, restaurateur, food show host and “Iron Chef America” winner. For the live auction, the longtime and generous supporter of Hospice of the Valley is donating his wildly popular Tarbell’s Table One, a dinner for eight, including wine pairings by Mark himself.

The exciting live auction will feature bucket list trips like:

  • Riches of the Mekong (for two): Three nights in Siem Reap, Cambodia, seven nights on a Mekong River cruise and two nights in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
  • Best of Greece (for two): Three nights in Athens, three nights in Crete and two nights in Santorini.
  • A VIP Triple Creek Ranch Experience (for four): Three nights in a two bedroom luxury cabin with all amenities included. Air transportation is by private jet; ground transportation to the ranch also is included.
  • Silent Auction bidders can choose from nine categories: Beauty and Well-Being, Children, Culinary, Culture, Fashion, Jewelry, Marketplace, Unique Adventures and Off the Vine.

“Auctiontainer” Letitia Frye is a former Hospice of the Valley volunteer who brings her heart and passion to support our mission.

AAHA! supports charity care programs for our patients and families and our innovative Dementia Care & Education Campus, now under construction in Phoenix. As a not-for-profit, Hospice of the Valley has never turned anyone away in its 43 years of serving our community. Last year, the value of community services and charity care exceeded $10 million.
